Where is Sazan Island Located?
Sazan Island is located between the Strait of Otranto and the Bay of Vlorë near South Albania, right where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. It almost looks like a detached part of the Karaburun Peninsula and consists of sandy beaches, capes, and rocky cliffs.

So, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment definitely has the ambition to
transform the island into a jewel of Mediterranean tourism. There have been multiple projects regarding Sazan, but
none
have been approved so far, as they weren’t considered in line with the Ministry's vision of
environmentally friendly tourism.
